Your neighbors, with a truck

We started Greene Disposal in 2024, when the townships around here stopped hauling and folks were left to sort out their own trash. One truck and a few neighbors then; two locations now — Coudersport and the Dark Skies country up toward Cherry Springs — on three named routes: the Mill Creek Loop through the borough, the Kettle Creek Route past the lake, and the Route 6 Ridge Run over the plateau. Same driver on your street each week, bins set back where they belong, and a real neighbor on the other end of every call.

“Signed up the week they started and never looked back. They haven't missed a Tuesday yet, and the bins are always back before I've finished my coffee.”

— N. Calloway, Coudersport Borough

Common questions

Everything people ask before booking

Do I need private trash service if my township doesn't collect?

In most of the Coudersport area there's no municipal pickup, so yes — every home arranges its own licensed hauler. That's what we do. Enter your address and we'll confirm your route day before you pay a cent.

How much does weekly garbage pickup cost?

Plans run $32–$42 a month depending on how far ahead you pay: Annual works out to $32/mo, Monthly is $42/mo, with 3- and 6-month terms in between. A single one-time pickup is $25 flat. No sign-up fees and no contracts.

What day is my pickup?

Tuesdays for the Borough (our Mill Creek Loop) and Fridays for the Township and Pine Hollow (the Kettle Creek Route and Route 6 Ridge Run), 7–11 a.m. We text the night before, and weather delays roll to the next morning automatically.

What can I put out — and what can't you take?

Bagged household trash, kitchen waste, broken-down boxes, and up to four yard-waste bags. Keep each bag under 30 pounds so our crew can lift it safely. We can't take hazardous chemicals, paint, tires, appliances, electronics, or construction debris — call us and we'll quote a special haul.

Is there a bag weight limit?

Yes — 30 pounds per bag. It keeps pickups quick and safe for the crew. Heavier loads or bulky items? Call (814) 363-1705 and we'll sort out a special haul.

I'm a first-time user — how do I start?

Easiest is to book online: enter your address up top, pick a plan, and choose your pickup days. Prefer to talk to someone first? Call (814) 363-1705 — a real person answers, Mon–Fri 7am–5pm.

Do I have to be home for pickup?

Never. Have your bins at the curb by 7 a.m. and we set them back where we found them. Most stops take under two minutes.

Can I skip a week or pause for the season?

Yes — skip a single pickup or pause billing entirely from your portal. It's built for snowbirds, hunting-camp weeks, and long trips. Resume anytime, no phone call needed.

What happens on holidays?

We observe six major holidays and run your route the next morning instead. Your portal and reminder text always show the adjusted date, so there's nothing to remember.

Get your street on the route this week
